Dr. Richard Burns

Co Founder, Chief Dental Officer
Dr Richard Burns has spent over 33 years in healthcare and has practiced dentistry in the Victoria area since 1993 in both group and solo practice settings. His first degree in Rehabilitation Medicine created a foundation of health care upon which he bases his approach to dentistry, where health, function and aesthetics co exist. Dr. Burns has lectured on comprehensive dental care – including diagnosis and treatment planning, dental implants and occlusion. He is a Graduate and Life Mentor of the Kois Centre in Seattle, Washington.

Dr. Brett Sorensen

Co Founder, Chief Strategy Officer
Dr Sorensen began his dental career as a dental associate in Calgary. Thereafter, he founded his professional practice clinic in south east Calgary, the Sorensen Dental Group, which he has successfully operated and expanded through nine years. Dr Sorensen possesses extensive contacts throughout the western Canadian dental sector.

Dr. Michael Parchewsky

Co Founder, Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. Parchewsky founded multiple successful dental practices including the current practice Terra Dental Care in Calgary, in which he practices general dentistry, surgical dentistry and sleep apnea. Dr Parchewsky is President of the Alberta Society for Dental Anesthesia, faculty member of the Zephyr Sleep Technologies and mentor/trainer for Dentsply Sirona Implants. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and Fellow of OMFS Montefiore College of Medicine.

Stefan Horsky BA, MBA

Mr Horsky is a highly experienced and successful entrepreneur and business leader whose career has focused primarily on healthcare and the consumer beverage industry. He is passionate about the healthcare industry and is a thought leader in the development of successful corporate cultures for healthcare professionals. For twelve years, Mr Horsky led the corporate growth and eventual successful strategic sale of Canada’s largest and most successful veterinary conglomerate, VCA Canada.

Allan Fowler BCOMM, CPA

CFO
Mr Fowler is a seasoned entrepreneurial and financial executive whose career spans a wide range of senior experience including roles as director, President, CEO, Vice President, CFO, private equity investor and business valuator across a wide range of industries. Mr Fowler’s experience includes 10 years in private equity and 6 years public practice focused on business valuations and corporate insolvency.

Barclay Laughland BCOMM, JD

EVP Corporate Development
Mr Laughland has been involved in various facets of the Canadian private enterprise marketplace for over 20 years. He was a senior executive of a publicly traded investment holding company focused on growth by acquisition of Canadian based businesses in a diversity of industries where he led the acquisition activities. He is a co founder of Evora Equity, a healthcare focused private equity firm, as well as a co founder of Veripath Partners, an agricultural investment fund manager.

Gerald Enns MBA, CBV

EVP Acquisitions
Having spent over 25 years initiating and facilitating the purchase and sale of businesses in Canada and internationally, Mr Enns brings extensive expertise and experience in acquisition deal sourcing, negotiation and structuring. Mr Enns was Vice President Business Development for VCA Canada for 12 years where he established and successfully implemented VCA’s sector consolidation strategy, leading to VCA becoming Canada’s largest veterinary clinic chain, expanding from 9 to 115 clinics.

Rob Pek DIP(Agbus)

VP Acquisitions
Mr. Pek has over 25 years of implementing numerous corporate start ups in both private and public arenas. Mr Pek was a founder and director of publicly listed Qeva Group Inc a provider of natural food supplements. Mr Pek was a partner in bus repair company Big Rig Collision and led its expansion into the US.

Dr Devnam Mangat

Director
Dr Devnam Mangat graduated from University College, London, England in 1990.This was followed by a period as Clinical Research fellow in the Department of Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Hospital. A career in general practice included a role as Company Dentist for BP. Dr. Mangat was appointed as Clinical Lead and Clinical Cluster Director for Oasis Dental Care, the largest DSO in England. Since 2010 Dr Mangat has worked as Dental Broker and most recently as Director of Western Canada ROI corporation.

Dr. Mangat has extensive experience in dentistry, both as a clinician and as Clinical and Operations Director for the largest DSO in England. He has been Chief Operations Officer for a large Western Canadian dental group, in addition to being a practice broker and Director of Western Canada for the ROI Corporation. He utilizes his experience and practice metrics as part of Clinical and Operational assessments for due diligence and operational purposes.

Kim Graham CMC

Regional Operations Director
Kim Graham is currently VP Acquisitions and Business Development, Watermark Dental Group. At Watermark, she has been pivotal to its expansion in BC For over 18 years. Ms Graham partnered with industry leading dental organizations such as Transitions Group North America (North America's largest Dental Consulting Firm) and Benco Dental to specialize in providing dental management consulting services as well as practice profitability analysis spanning over 500 forensic dental practice assessments across North America.
